Himalayan lily (Cardiocrinum giganteum) flower stalk and leaves. Almost at the end of flowering.

The flowers of Cardiocrinum giganteum have a glorious smell and are on a stalk 2-3m high.  It takes about 7 years to flower and then dies after producing many seeds and bulb offsets.  Bulb offsets flower after about 5 years!
